Dear Parent/Carer,
Re: Coronavirus Precautionary Measures at Trinity Catholic College
Over the February half term holiday 36 pupils and 8 members of staff from
Trinity Catholic College travelled to Verona in Northern Italy on a ski trip. As
you might be aware some of Northern Italy has been affected by coronavirus.
The Trust, following discussion with the Headteacher and in the best interests
of the school population, have decided to close the school for the remainder
of this week, to conduct a precautionary deep clean of the school buildings.
The school will reopen on Monday 2nd March 2020.
This will cause inconvenience and disruption to the education of our students, however,
your children and our staff welfare are of paramount importance.
NPCAT are working with relevant agencies in response to the potential risks
reported across the UK as a consequence of hundreds of schools returning
from Italy over the last few days of midterm.
Further guidance is available on our website.
Yours sincerely
Jill Benson
Head of Attendance and Welfare
