Prayer Group takes place regularly for KS2 children. Since being established, it has been a very popular club and has proven a fun way to explore our children’s spirituality.
October and May have always been dedicated to praying The Rosary.
Prayer group explore a range of bible readings relevant to the Liturgical year, listen to reflective music, think and pray for others and do themed art and craft activities.
Currently Y6 children are meeting every Monday for Prayer group

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Bless us all here at St Bernadette’s School.
Help us to shine like the brightest stars,
In all that we say and do.
Help us to learn, laugh and love with all our hearts,
Spreading good news in our lives.
Nicholas Postgate Trust Prayer
Through the intercession of Blessed Nicholas Postgate,
Lord, give us the strength so that we are guided by your example.
Give me the conviction to believe in myself.
Give me the confidence I need to be the best I can be to myself and others.
Lord Jesus, you have enriched our lives in many ways.
You give us the wisdom to recognise that if children live with praise they learn appreciation
And if they live with acceptance they learn to love,
If they live with fairness they learn justice
And if children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
Show us how best to use the talents you have given us.
Help us to use all opportunities wisely that we may give in service to others the good gifts we have received from you.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Father in heaven I give you today,
All that I think or do or say.
I want to join in all that is done,
By Jesus Christ your Dearest Son.

Bless us Oh Lord as we sit together,
Bless this food we eat today,
Bless the hands that made the food,
Bless us Oh Lord. Amen.
