Lenten Mass Visits The children will take it in turns to visit Church for Mass on a Friday during Lent. Y6 will begin this Friday (23.2) and we will work down KS2 each following week. If you are able to help walk children to church please meet us at the school office at 11.30am. The children will eat their lunch before they leave school. 

Parent Consultation Parent Consultations will take place 3-6pm this Wednesday and Thursday. We look forward to seeing you. Children can use the schools out service if you need childcare during the appointment. 

Easter Egg Raffle The Easter Egg Raffle will be held on the last day of term (Friday 22nd) Your child will come home with a letter and some raffle tickets. Please note this year each ticket costs £1 so please add name and number to a ticket. Please can all Easter Eggs be donated in school from 19.2. We look forward to one of the great St Bernadette’s traditions!  

Red Nose Day Children can wear red and we will host a cake sale too! 

World Book Day Please see separate letter for more information. Children can dress up a sa favourite character or in comfy clothes for reading! 

Schools Out Please note that Schools Out will be closed on Friday 1st March as all staff are attending a funeral. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. This will also affect the KS2 Dance After school club. 

Bags 2 school You may have noticed that your child has come home with a leaflet about BAG 2 SCHOOL which is a fundraising initiative that we are taking part in this half term. If you have any unwanted clothes please bring them in your own bags to school. Our collection date is 13th March. Please bring your bags into school anytime from week beginning 4th March as we do not have enough storage area in school to hold the bags for longer than this.
