Y5 Trinity discussions

Mr Carey visited school this week to speak to Y5 parents considering our feeder school – Trinity Catholic College – or their Y5 children.  He asked us to share the following message:

Good afternoon Mr Conway and Miss Brady,
Please could you pass on my thanks to the parents who attended yesterday’s open forum.  I really appreciated the questions and the feedback they gave. My email is [email protected] should Y5 parents wish to follow up with any further questions or arrange a look around our school.
Thanks again,
Simon Carey
Assistant Headteacher (Trinity Catholic College)

Y4/5 FHC – Monday 27th June

On Monday morning, please be reminded that we are having photographs for our Y4/5 children who have made their communion this month.  Please ensure children are dressed appropriately on entry to school with uniform to change back into after the photos.

Following the photos, we will have a thanksgiving party for all Y4/5 children and their catechists.  Food donations are welcome from Y4/5 families.

Sports Day

Sports day will take place on Tuesday 28th June.

  • EYFS and KS1 9:30am start (until approx 11am)
  • KS2 1:15pm start (approx 3pm finish)

Parents are welcome to attend sports day and join in the fun. Please do not bring extra food or snacks for children as they will be receiving drinks and lollies from school. Weather dependent children may need sun cream and sun hats or cardigans and jumpers! Lets see what the British weather has in store for us!

School’s Out closure

School’s out will not be running on Wednesday 13th July and Monday 18th July, due to a staff retreat and the Summer Fayre. We apologise for any convenience this may cause.

Y4 Science trip-Friday 1st July

We have booked the coach pick up for 8:30am on Friday next week  so it would be really helpful if children could be at school for 8:15-8:30 please so we can have a prompt set off.

American Day

On Monday 4th July we will be hosting an American Day themed menu. If your children normally has a packed lunch but you would like to book your child on a school meal for this day please inform the school office.  Please See attached flyer for more information.

All children and parents are welcome to experience this amazing show which will be hosted at Trinity Catholic College on a large scale stage! Don’t miss it!

Water Bottles

Please can we ask that children bring plastic water bottles to school instead of glass bottles as this can cause a health and safety issue if they smash. Many thanks.

E-Safety

Please find attached two leaflets explaining the metaverse and E sports online. It is imperative we keep up to date with all current changes and challenges for our children online.

Caritas

Please find attached this month’s Caritas Newsletter for your information.

 Mr Conway and Miss Brady
