Our Year 3 class page is here to support both children and parents. On this page, you will find useful information on what happens during the academic year. You will also find Termly Curriculum Newsletters. Our Year 3 class teacher is Miss Connors who is supported by the wonderful Mrs Simpson and Mrs Wildbure.
Our homework policy in St Bernadettes is that children are expected to read out loud to an adult as much as possible at home. Parents/carers are requested to sign home reading records to confirm reading. We ask children to bring their reading book and reading records into school every day, we are aiming for all children to reach 100 reads or more!! Children are also expected to practise their times tables every week. You can also find an optional homework grid on Year 3’s Google Classroom.
Year 3 have PE every Monday and Wednesday. On PE days, children should come to school wearing their full PE kit. Details of our PE expectations can be found under the schools uniform policy.
We are the youngest class in Key Stage 2. This year we are being introduced to new activities including: Swimming and French!
